The role

As the site Hoist Operator you will operate the hoist, keep it tidy, assist in other manual labour duties when not required in the hoist, and support various tradesmen on site.

Responsibilities

• Operate hoist machinery safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a tidy and safe working environment.
• Assist with manual labour tasks when needed.
• Assist tradesmen with hoisting tasks.
• Be comfortable lifting and shifting materials throughout the day.

About you

• Ideally you will have previous working experience as a Hoist Operator.
• You will be conscious of health and safety on site and be aware of others working alongside you.
• You will arrive on time, finish your shift by the times allocated by the site manager, and complete additional duties as required.

Qualifications and Attributes

• Previous experience in a Hoist Operator position.
• Relevant CPCS Card.
• Approachable and willing to act as a point of contact when working in a standalone position.
• Strong work ethic.
