Road Safety Instructor

Overview

Work with York Limited is recruiting for the Road Safety Training Team to deliver Bikeability, Pedestrian and Balance Bike training across schools.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver Bikeability Levels 1, 2 and 3 to primary and secondary schools.
• Deliver Pedestrian training for school years 3 and 4.
• Deliver Balance Bike training for pre‑school and reception children.
• Engage with schools in classrooms and assemblies as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Holder of the 1st 4Sport Level 2 award in Instructing Cycle training, or willing to undertake the paid qualification.
• Regular cyclist capable of riding up to 25 miles a day.
• Comfortable using IT programmes, including Excel, Word, e‑mail and smart mobile phone usage.

• Flexible work throughout the year.
• Pay: £16.33 per hour.
