As a Class 1/2 Driver with YellowStone Environmental Solutions, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery and collection of hazardous and non‑hazardous waste across customer locations.This is a hands on role that requires professionalism, attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety.You will work closely with the operations team and benefit from ongoing training and development to support your growth.
More about the role:
Drive HGV vehicles to collect hazardous waste from customer sites
Support loaders when the vehicle is not in transit, working collaboratively as part of the operations team
Plan and manage on road routes to meet time‑sensitive delivery deadlines
Complete daily vehicle walk around checks and accurately report defects
Comply with all on site and third party health and safety requirements
Manage drivers’ hours safely and legally
Receive ongoing training to enhance your skills and knowledge
Qualifications
About you:
Experienced Class 1/2 driver with a minimum of one year of commercial HGV driving
Hold a valid HGVlicence, Driver CPC, Digital Tachograph Card and ADR licence
Confident operating road tankers and vacuum tankers
Able to work to deadlines and manage routes efficiently
Strong focus on safety, compliance, and emergency response
Comfortable working in all weather conditions and performing physically demanding tasks
A proactive problem solver with a professional approach to customer service
