The children, staff and governors of Nether Green Infant Schoolare looking to appoint an outstanding, enthusiastic and dedicated Level 3Teaching Assistant. This is a great opportunity to become part of our wonderfuland inclusive school.
The successful candidate will join a strong and supportive teamand contribute to the school’s calm, nurturing, and positive approach. The postholder will work alongside the class teacher in a class of up to 30 pupils inReception or KS1, supporting the teaching and learning of all children.

You must:
- Must have a minimum Level 3 qualification for Early Years or KS1 orequivalent
- Have experience of working with children with SEND
- Have experience of supporting children with a range of needs,including Autism and Speech and Language difficulties
- Have a good understanding of the EYFS and KS1 curriculum and have experienceof working with children in this age group
- Understand how the fundamental skills of reading, writing andMaths develop within EYFS and KS1
- Value the contribution of play to young children’s learning anddevelopment
- Be flexible and willing to adapt in order to meet the individualneeds of the children and achieve the best outcomes
- Be willing to work closely with other professionals and implementadvice and strategies to support individual children
- Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Enjoy working with young children
- Be able to work effectively as part of a team or use your owninitiative when required
- Be able to develop positive working relationships with children,parents and staff
- Be committed, enthusiastic and willing to undertake furthertraining and professional development
