Position

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and customer‑focused individuals to join our team as seasonal bar staff, on a full‑time basis. As a vital part of our hospitality team, you will play a key role in providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring they have a memorable time at Plockton Inn. The season runs to the end of October; there may be an opportunity to extend based on business demand.

In this guest‑facing role you will be responsible for taking orders, delivering beverages and liaising with the F&B team to ensure guests receive a high level of service.

Responsibilities

  • Taking orders and delivering beverages to guests.
  • Liaising with the F&B team to ensure a high level of service.
  • Setting up the bar area before service.
  • Maintaining high levels of cleanliness in and around the bar area.
  • Stock management and ordering.
  • Working flexible shift patterns covering lunch and dinner service.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided.
  • Effective communication with guests and team to ensure a high level of guest service.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment, remaining calm under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Passion and knowledge of current drink trends.
