About the Role
The Centre for Doctoral Training in Next Generation Organ Chip Technologies (CoaCT) is an EPSRC funded project to support the training of PhD students. We are looking for a dedicated Organ on a Chip Education and Laboratory Trainer to join the team for 24 months. This exciting new role will support the development of educational materials and delivery of some of the training components in the CDT, will develop and deliver content for taught postgraduate modules, develop and deliver short courses associated with organ on a chip technologies and will also support the broad day to day management of organ on a chip laboratories within the School of Engineering and Materials Science.
About You
We are looking for a motivated, organised and professional individual with an enthusiasm for developing engaging educational and training material in the areas of organ on a chip technologies, broad laboratory and analytical skills, as well as working with and supporting external stakeholders. An awareness of VLE platforms and the range of tools available to engage students in learning is important as well as the ability to prioritise a varied workload, to set and meet deadlines. A degree is essential, with extensive postgraduate experience in the field of organ on a chip or a related area. A demonstrated ability to communicate well, with good interpersonal skills, and to work within a team, to support the development of training activities.
