At Sodexo Live! we create exceptional moments at some of the world’s most iconic venues, and now we’re looking for a talented and ambitious Senior Head Chef to join our culinary leadership team at Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead high-volume, premium food operations across matchdays, conferences & events, and retail catering within a fast-paced Premier League environment.

Working closely with the Executive Head Chef, you’ll play a key role in delivering outstanding food experiences for guests, fans, clients, and corporate hospitality customers alike.

As Senior Head Chef, you’ll lead the day-to-day kitchen operation across the stadium, ensuring consistently exceptional food quality, strong financial performance, and a culture of food innovation and teamwork.

We’re looking for a passionate culinary leader who thrives under pressure and enjoys delivering memorable food experiences in a dynamic stadium environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Leading food production across hospitality, conferencing & events, and retail operations
  • Creating and developing exciting, seasonal, and commercially effective menus
  • Managing kitchen teams to deliver exceptional service standards
  • Maintaining excellent food hygiene, HACCP, COSHH, and health & safety compliance
  • Controlling food purchasing, stock management, wastage, and labour costs
  • Supporting and developing chefs through coaching, training, and food craft development
  • Working collaboratively with suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Delivering strong GP performance and operating within budget targets
  • Ensuring consistency, creativity, and quality across every service

What You Bring

  • Previous experience leading busy kitchen operations
  • Experience managing teams of at least 5 chefs
  • Strong understanding of food cost control and budget management
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment
  • Flexibility to work all Brighton & Hove Albion home matchdays
  • Previous Head Chef experience within stadia, hospitality, or large-scale events
  • Knowledge of modern catering trends and food innovation
  • Menu development and event catering experience
  • Experience using Sodexo systems or equivalent catering platforms
