Job Description

  • Support the Military Department team in fulfilling customer orders while learning the key skills to become a competent Savile Row standard finisher specialising in military finishing.
  • General military tailoring (with an emphasis on naval uniforms) – medal mounting, sleeve and shoulder ranking, sewing on badges and basic alterations.
  • Training in bespoke garment finishing such as hand‑sewn buttonholes, felling, prick stitching, hand‑rolled pockets squares, frogging and small repairs.
  • Opportunity to learn the customer‑facing side of the department if interested; occasional customer‑facing help required for certain Royal Household related duties.
