HGV Class 1 Driver – Part Time

Pay Rate: £17.74 ph | Grade: O | Contract Type: Permanent (Part-Time) | Shift patterns: Friday to Monday – 14:30pm start time | Location: Swindon – SN3 4TT

Job Overview

We are looking for a Class 1 driver who will play a key role in ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently, delivering goods safely and on time. The role involves driving in line with Drivers’ Hours and Working Time Directive regulations, complying with health and safety standards, adhering to The Highway Code, and performing manual handling of customer products.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive safely and efficiently, complying with Drivers’ Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Adhere to our health and safety standards, The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations.
• Regularly complete vehicle checks.
• Handle customer products manually where required.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving License (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Ideally have at least 6 months of recent driving experience.
