Overview
Due to recent contract wins, our client is currently recruiting for a 7.5 ton Hiab Operator / Driver for a 2-3 month contract covering Midlands locations. The position will involve driving a 7.5 ton vehicle with Hiab attachment, and using the Hiab to load and unload electric vehicle charging units as car dealerships. Additional duties will include assisting trades with the installation and removal of the electric charging units, using and tools, labouring etc.
Responsibilities
- Drive a 7.5 ton vehicle with Hiab attachment and operate the Hiab to load and unload electric vehicle charging units for car dealerships.
- Assist trades with the installation and removal of electric charging units, using tools, labouring, etc.
Qualifications
- Must have a full clean UK Driving Licence with C1 (7.5t) entitlement
- Tachograph card
- Driver CPC card (DQC)
- Understanding of crane lifting and lifting equipment regulations (desirable but not essential)
- Knowledge of equipment inspection
- Willing to work in the outdoors and in all weather conditions
