Key Responsibilities
- Complete skills reviews with apprentices and employers and identify skill and knowledge gaps.
- Develop and take responsibility for the delivery of individual training plans tailored to candidate needs.
- Maintain records for individual candidates.
- Undertake workplace observations.
- Support the delivery of high‑quality training to exceed awarding body standards, including functional skills, as appropriate to candidate requirements.
- Assess skills and behaviours and provide feedback to learners using the ePortfolio system.
Training Duties
- Develop individual action plans tailored to candidate needs.
- Deliver training using approved resources to cover knowledge, skills and behaviours.
- Monitor, support and record progress in English and Maths in partnership with an FS specialist.
- Provide tutorial support, including key training for apprentices and employers on Prevent, British Values, safeguarding, and additional learnings.
- Support remote online delivery of webinars to groups of apprentices.
- Train and promote British Values, Prevent, mental health and well‑being, careers guidance, and online safety topics.
Co‑ordination and Support
- Monitor candidate progress and provide support in portfolio completion, end‑point assessments and evidence setting.
- Record and report on progress against ALS.
- Supply information to employees and employers to support apprenticeship programmes.
- Liaise with line managers to facilitate reviews and appraisals.
- Provide programme data and learner information as required and contribute to self‑assessment monitoring.
- Manage the quality of the start‑up pack and evidence base for each apprentice.
- Attend CPD, standardisation events and company conferences at Bristol as required.
- Support apprentices and employers during the end‑point assessment process.
Administration
- Complete all documentation to register new candidates on the programme.
- Maintain records of candidate progress against specified targets.
- Document visits to employers, candidate reviews, assessment visits and other appointments that support relationships.
- Ensure timely achievement of all programme milestones and complete documentation for Gateway and End‑Point Assessment.
Other Responsibilities
- Perform any other duties reasonably required for the role.

About You – Qualifications and Skills
- Hold a relevant qualification or possess experience in the subject area.
- Have up‑to‑date industry knowledge.
- Hold Level 2 numeracy and literacy qualifications.
- Have experience working with employers in a training or customer‑relations role.
- Be able to develop strong professional relationships with employers and learners.
- Have strong IT skills and be willing to work with e‑portfolio systems.
- Motivate learners and ensure they complete on time.
- Hold a full driving licence, own a vehicle and be willing to travel to customer sites.
- Be highly motivated and willing to use initiative.
- Hold an assessor qualification.
- Hold an IV/IQA qualification.
- Have experience working in Further Education or a similar environment.
- Have experience as an Early Years Advanced Practitioner or in management.
