Job Title: Furniture Driver

Location: RAF Croughton, NN13, 5NQ

Working Hours: Full‑time, 39 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Ensuring safe transport of furniture and appliances, carefully loading vehicles and delivering items on time and without damage.
• Positioning furniture as requested and installing white goods with care to give customers confidence that everything works perfectly.
• Providing reassurance face‑to‑face and supporting customers during the busy and often stressful process of moving home.
• Assisting with warehouse tasks such as cleaning, testing, stock checks, and safe storage to keep operations running smoothly.
• Supporting logistics by helping supervisors schedule deliveries and collections, including occasional overnight stops.
• Maintaining standards by keeping vehicles, tools, and equipment clean, safe, and ready for use.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Regular driving experience and a full clean driving licence.
• Ability to communicate politely with customers.
• Team‑working skills.
• Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy items.
• Adherence to security clearance procedures (Baseline Personnel Security Standard, and where required, formal Security Clearance such as CTC or SC).
• Drivers Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) Card (desirable).
• Forklift Licence (desirable).

Security: The role requires BPSS clearance and may require higher clearance (CTC/SC). Information on UK residency requirements and occupational health questionnaires will be provided as part of the hiring process.
