Overview
Great Oaks School is a secondary special school for pupils with learning difficulties in Southampton. Due to continued expansion, we require Special School Support Assistants to work across the school with individuals and small groups.
Responsibilities
- Support the learning of young people under the direction of a teacher and help meet personal care needs.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in a school or care setting, paid or voluntary, is essential.
- Experience working with children with SEN is useful but not essential; training will be provided.
About the Trust
Great Oaks is part of the Specialist Schools Trust, comprising Great Oaks and Rosewood Special Schools. Great Oaks has three sites across the City.
