We’re looking for an enthusiastic Lecturer in Hair to join our vibrant Lifestyle Faculty. You’ll inspire students, share your industry expertise, and bring lessons to life in both practical and classroom settings.

What you’ll be doing

• Planning creative, engaging lessons that inspire confidence and skill
• Delivering high-quality teaching using modern techniques, digital tools, and industry-relevant content
• Supporting learners as their Academic Progress Tutor, helping them reach (and exceed!) their potential
• Assessing work, giving meaningful feedback, and tracking progress
• Building positive relationships with learners, colleagues, and parents

You’ll be a key role model – championing professionalism, inclusion, employability skills, and safe working practices.

Who we’re looking for

You’ll be:

• Passionate about hairdressing/barbering education and learner success
• Qualified in a subject-related discipline (degree or equivalent)
• A confident communicator with an energetic and inspirational teaching style
• Experienced (or keen to develop) in course planning, delivery, and assessment
• Committed to safeguarding, equality, and creating a positive learning environment

Teaching qualifications are essential (or a willingness to work towards them). An assessor qualification is also desirable.
