Catering Assistant

Equans is recruiting for a Part‑time Catering Assistant to join our team at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh (EH16 4SA). This permanent role requires 20 hours per week and offers a salary of £14,237.60 per annum. Duties will include providing and maintaining food and beverage services and supporting daily catering operations.

Shift Pattern

Monday – Friday, 2:30 pm – 6:30 pm.

What will you deliver?

• Provide and maintain food & beverage services to customers, and assist in all general duties including food preparation and cleaning.
• Assist with all aspects of food preparation and presentation in accordance with current food legislation.
• Prepare and serve food as directed by the Catering Services Manager and Assistant Catering Services Manager.
• Assist the Catering Manager and Assistant Catering Services Manager with the day‑to‑day running of the site and carry out general catering duties as directed by the management team.

Who are we looking for?

• Previous catering experience.
• Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Ability to pass a DS Basic check (essential).
• Evidence of right to work in the UK.
