A Sous Chef is required for this excellent Italian restaurant in Altrincham, Cheshire. This role requires candidates to have a valid UK work visa or settled status – no sponsorship is provided. The Head Chef comes from a strong Italian restaurant background and is looking for a Sous Chef who will help oversee the smooth running of service. The restaurant blends old and new design with a minimalist, modern vibe and a quirky colour palette, while serving classic Italian dishes in a casual setting. Fresh and local produce is a key aspect of the offering, and the Sous Chef will share this passion.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the day to day running of the kitchen
• Be innovative and committed
• Have a passion for excellent food, ingredients and service
• Maintain high quality and consistency with a professional “can do” attitude
• Have a background working within gastronomic establishments and be looking to work within a kitchen where the highest level of food is produced

Qualifications

• Experience in gastronomic establishments and a desire to work at the highest level of cooking
• Strong interest in working with fresh, local produce
• Ability to work as part of a team and maintain quality under pressure
• Must have a valid UK work visa or settled status (no sponsorship)
