Manufacturing Apprentice – Position

Join our Manufacturing Academy and learn to become a skilled Technical Operator.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery and maintain production lines.
• Spot and correct faults.
• Learn and apply food safety, hygiene and quality control standards.
• Understand ingredient flow through the supply chain.
• Work collaboratively within a team.

Workplace and Training

Based at one of our UK dairies: Manchester, Skelmersdale, Market Drayton, Telford, Minsterley, Droitwich, Severnside & Bridgwater.

Training is delivered over three block weeks each year. Travel, accommodation, and living expenses are covered during training and project work.

The apprenticeship involves shift work and some weekends (depending on age). Flexibility is essential.

Benefits

£18,500 starting salary, with a pay rise after the first year.

40 hours per week, including shift work (age dependent).

Qualifications

• Grade 5s at band C or above in English and Maths.
• 16 years of age or older and residing in the UK.
• Not currently in full-time education.
• Willingness to travel for training or project work; expenses will be reimbursed.
