Teaching Assistant Apprentice
Apprenticeship Level 3 – £8 per hour. Fixed-term, full time. Start ASAP for 21 months (or less if apprenticeship completed). Hours: 37 per week during term time plus two additional weeks. Monday to Thursday 8:30 am–4:30 pm; Friday 8:30 am–4:00 pm.
Core Responsibilities
- Work under the direct instruction of teaching and senior staff.
- Support access to learning for individual pupils and small groups.
- Provide general support to the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom.

Pay & Leave
Term time only plus two additional weeks’ pay is calculated on the following: 38 weeks of teaching, 1.6 weeks of public (bank) holidays, two additional weeks inclusive of CPD, and individual leave entitlement (27 days for <5 years service, 32 days for ≥5 years). Pay is distributed in 12 equal monthly instalments.
