Primary School Teacher – Full Time (PPA Cover)

Location: PR9, Sefton

Work hours: Monday – Friday | 8:00am – 4:00pm

Start: ASAP until July 2026 with potential to return in September.

A welcoming and well-regarded primary school in the PR9 area of Sefton is looking to appoint a versatile and dedicated Primary Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons across KS1 and KS2.
• Cover teachers’ PPA time across different year groups.
• Adapt teaching styles to suit a range of abilities and needs.
• Maintain strong classroom management and positive behaviour.
• Work collaboratively with staff to ensure continuity of learning.

Candidate Requirements

• Holds QTS (or equivalent).
• Confident teaching across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
• Flexible, adaptable and comfortable working across different classes.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Passionate about delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
