Description
Permanent contract, 37 hours per week, 38 weeks per year – term time only. These hours will include evenings and weekends on a rota basis. Salary is full time equivalent.

As Academy Salon Manager at Bath College, you will run our commercial salons professionally – and to the highest standards. You will manage daily operations in our busy Hair & Beauty Academy, guaranteeing an exceptional experience for students and clients. Your key responsibilities:
- Oversee all operational aspects of the Hair & Beauty Academy, including client bookings, staffing of commercial sessions, stock control, and maintenance of equipment and resources.
- Work closely with curriculum staff to ensure the Academy supports high‑quality teaching, learning, assessment, and the delivery of realistic industry practice.
- Provide line management, supervision, and guidance to technicians, reception staff, and students working within the Academy environment.
- Lead on health, safety, hygiene, and safeguarding standards within the commercial salons, ensuring full compliance with college policies and industry regulations.

- Level 3 qualification in Beauty and/or Hair, plus managerial experience, or qualifications.
