About the Role
Send Teacher roles provide one‑to‑one support for SEND/SEMH learners as a SEND Tutor, Intervention Tutor or Specialist Teacher across a range of needs, including MLD, SLD, PMLD and other additional educational needs.

Qualifications
- 2+ years post‑NQT teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, PMLD or similar in a holistic and trauma‑informed way
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS)
- Understanding of child‑centred, holistic approaches and creativity to tailor the curriculum to each student
- Enhanced DBS (facilitated if needed) and 2+ professional references
- Based in the UK with right to work in the UK, even for remote or online jobs
- Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment
Responsibilities
- Develop strong relationships with children and young people who have a range of needs and who have often experienced significant difficulties in previous education settings
- Provide in‑person, online/remote, and hybrid support to children, teenagers and young people with SEMH and SEND needs, including MLD, SLD, PMLD and other additional educational needs
- Support pupils and students from KS1‑KS5 (as appropriate for your skills), referred by local authorities and schools by planning and delivering flexible, trauma‑informed tutoring and mentoring tailored to the young person’s needs, EHCP and risk assessment
- Plan and report lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress
