About the Role
Career Teachers are working in partnership with a number of secondary schools across Sheffield who are recruiting Secondary Teachers across all subject areas for September 2026 starts.
We are seeking passionate and dedicated teachers to deliver high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 where applicable) in a variety of subjects including:
- English
- Maths
- Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics)
- Humanities (History, Geography, RE)
- MFL (French, Spanish, German)
- PE
- Art & Design
- Design & Technology
- Music & Performing Arts
- Computer Science / ICT
Roles are available on a day-to-day, short-term, and long-term basis, with many opportunities leading to permanent positions.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and structured lessons in your subject specialism
- Maintain strong behaviour management and classroom expectations
- Assess, monitor, and track student progress
- Adapt teaching to meet a range of abilities and needs
- Work collaboratively with departments and school staff
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Recent experience teaching in UK secondary schools
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
- Reliable, organised, and adaptable approach
- Full UK driving licence (desirable but not essential)
