Business Function
The Estates Administration Service is a highly successful business unit within Equiniti with substantial opportunity for growth. It provides a comprehensive, personal and professional service in all aspects of an estate of a deceased person. We currently have 10 teams across offices in Exeter and Birmingham with around 41 colleagues administering the terms of a Will or rules of Intestacy, including obtaining the Grant and handling taxation and other legislative aspects.
Role Summary
The role involves supporting the Estate Administration process by administering the terms of a deceased’s Will or Intestacy. Duties include banking, clerical, post, and other tasks to assist the Estate Case officers. Training and coaching will be provided to progress and develop Estate Administration skills and knowledge.
Core Duties / Responsibilities
- Banking administration including payments
- Post, triage and filing
- Data input and case set‑up
- Some estate administration tasks (with training)
- Completion of HMRC forms (with training)
