Proactive Teaching Assistant needed in Manchester. Start date – September. TeacherActive is looking for Teaching Assistants in Manchester to work in a primary school on a permanent basis. The role involves supporting children and developing them in Year 1, gaining valuable experience and keeping everyday work exciting.

Key Responsibilities

• Support children in their learning and development.
• Work in a primary school setting (Year 1).
• Assist with 1:1 and small group sessions.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student learning.
• Adhere to child protection and safeguarding guidelines.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or 3 qualification and/or a minimum of 6 months experience in an educational establishment.
• A calm, patient and caring persona.
• Good communication skills.
• A good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines.
• Experience working with students in 1:1 and small group settings.
