MPA Recruitment is urgently inviting applications for an experienced and reliable Band 3 Cook to join the catering team atLisgaral in Larne for immediate start

Lisgarel Residential Unit requires immediate cook cover to maintain essential meal provision for: 16 residential residents and 40 Day Centre service user meals daily

This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in delivering high quality meals in a healthcare environment and can work confidently within established food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present a range of meals to a consistently high standard
• Follow national nutritional guidelines and Trust food hygiene procedures
• Support the delivery of meals to residents
• Maintain a clean, safe and well organised working environment
• Work effectively as part of the catering team to meet service targets and mealtime schedules

Essential Criteria

Qualifications

• City and Guilds706/01 and 706/2 or NVQ Level 2in Food Preparation or equivalent

OR

• A minimum of 2experience as an Assistant Cook or Cook in the public or private sector.

Training

• Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering Certificate or equivalent

Hours and Pay

• Monday to Sunday
• 30hours – 37.5 hours
• £12.75 – £21.55
• Weekly pay
• Holiday fund included
