Responsibilities
- Assist the Educational Psychology Service in the delivery of core services in early years, school and college settings, including work with Looked After Children.
- Support whole school approaches to SEND through participation in a multi‑agency Experts at Hand Team.
- Conduct observations, consultations, appropriate assessments and write reports.
- Deliver training and support whole school approaches to SEND.
- Perform duties as a designated customer‑facing role under the fluency duty, requiring a specified level of spoken English.
Qualifications
- At least a 2:1 Honours Degree in Psychology, providing a graduate basis for registration with the British Psychology Society.
- Willingness to commit to working in Bolton until at least September 2027.
- Interest in embarking on the professional doctorate and qualifying as an Educational Psychologist.
