We are looking for an enthusiastic trainer to join our team. You will work with the Moving and Handling Manager and the team of Advisors and Trainers to provide and co‑ordinate training and support for Moving and Handling across NHS Highland. You will deliver high‑quality Moving and Handling training to staff and provide on‑site coaching, support and competency assessment in clinical and non‑clinical settings. This role is key to ensuring safe, effective and person‑centred moving and handling practice across our diverse workforce.
Successful Candidate Will Have
- Degree in a health or social care discipline or equivalent relevant qualifications
- Experience working in a health or social care setting
- Experience delivering training or education
- Strong communication and facilitation skills
- The ability to adapt training to diverse staff groups
- Good understanding of moving and handling principles and legislation
- Ability to demonstrate safe techniques and handle training equipment
- Ability to travel throughout NHS Highland
A full UK driving licence is essential for this role.
