Hours: 30 per week (Monday to Friday 01:00‑07:00)

About the role
We are seeking a CCTV Operator to join our established team at Cannock Chase District Council.
This is an exciting opportunity where the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting community safety by monitoring surveillance systems, identifying potential incidents, and sharing accurate information with colleagues and partners. This role demands strong observational skills, clear communication, and a commitment to confidentiality and professional standards.

- Experienced in working in a CCTV control room, or similar environment
- Reliable, observant, and able to maintain focus for extended periods
- Calm and professional when dealing with incidents and pressure situations
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately identify and report events
- Committed to confidentiality, data protection, and professional standards
This role will be subject to a Standard DBS Disclosure.
