The Essentials
- Start date: September 2026
- Location: Northampton
- Pay: £93‑£110 per day (Paid weekly)
- Hours: 8:30 AM – 4 PM, Monday to Friday (Term Time Only – evenings, weekends, and school holidays are free)
- Contract: Straight Permanent or Temp‑to‑Perm pathway

The Role: What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide targeted support: Work 1:1 or in small groups with children who have diverse learning and emotional needs.
- Break down barriers: Help pupils navigate emotional, behavioural, and learning challenges with patience and care.
- Adapt & include: Work alongside teachers to adapt learning activities so every child can succeed.
- Collaborate: Partner with teachers and SENCOs to keep the classroom safe, positive, and happy.
Who We Are Looking For
- Backgrounds in schools, care, psychology, youth work, or sports coaching are highly desirable.
- Experience with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) or Team Teach training is a huge plus (free training offered).
- Patient, empathetic, and level‑headed when handling challenging moments.
- Hold an Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one before September.
- Desire for long‑term stability – straight permanent or guaranteed Temp‑to‑Perm pathway.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Full DBS and child protection training will be provided where necessary.
