Role Overview

Location

The Chestnuts, Aylesbury.

Responsibilities

• Person‑centred care – ensure residents receive personal care (bathing, dressing, oral care) within their preferences and promote right to choice and independence.
• Review – contribute to and carry out care reviews with residents to ensure their plans reflect their needs.
• Medication – administer residents’ medication safely and compliantly.
• Social Activity – lead and participate in trips, social engagements and activities within the home.
• Leadership – support new starters or existing staff with shadowing and development, and may be called up to lead the home where more senior managers are not available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months right to work in the UK.
• Available to work 42 hours per week.
• Hold an NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care and preferably working towards level 3.
