Salary: £168‑£232 per day (dependent on experience)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm

We are currently working in partnership with a successful and well‑established secondary school that is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Science Teacher from September 2026. The Role
As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. There may also be opportunities to teach at Key Stage 5, depending on your experience and subject specialism (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics).
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high‑quality Science lessons aligned with the national curriculum
- Assess and monitor student progress, using data to inform teaching strategies
- Support students in developing scientific knowledge, enquiry skills, and critical thinking
- Prepare pupils for GCSE examinations, ensuring strong outcomes
- Maintain a positive, well‑managed classroom environmentylin
- Contribute to departmental planning and wider school initiatives
The Ideal Candidate Will
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Have experience teaching Science within a secondary school setting
- Demonstrate strong subject knowledge in one or more Science disciplines
- Possess effective classroom management and organisational skills
- Show a commitment to raising student attainment and engagement
- Work collaboratively within a supportive team environment
Eligibility Requirements
- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Two professional references relating to working with children
