Job Title: Early Years Class Teacher – SEND School
Location: North West London | Start Date: ASAP | Contract: Full‑time | Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience)
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Early Years practitioner, whether qualified, unqualified, or overseas‑trained, to join a welcoming and supportive SEND school. While QTS is not required, applicants must have proven experience teaching within Early Years (EYFS) and a strong understanding of child development.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage an Early Years class within a specialist SEND setting.
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the EYFS framework.
- Support pupils with a range of needs including ASD, speech and language needs, SEMH, and developmental delays.
- Create a nurturing, structured, and stimulating learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and senior leaders.
- Monitor progress and adapt provision to meet individual EHCP targets.
Qualifications
- Substantial experience teaching in Early Years (essential).
- Experience working with children with SEND (highly desirable).
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
- Patient, adaptable, and nurturing approach.
- Understanding of safeguarding and inclusive practice.
