The Candidate
We are looking to appoint a confident, adaptable and highly organised cover supervisor to join our team at The de Ferrers Academy. This role will support the continuity of learning across the academy by supervising classes during teacher absence and ensuring that pre-prepared work is delivered effectively.
Responsibilities include maintaining a purposeful learning environment, supporting students to stay on task, managing classroom behaviour in line with academy expectations, and providing clear guidance to help students make progress.
The successful candidate will be able to communicate clearly, build positive relationships with students and staff, and demonstrate confidence in managing a classroom. They will have strong interpersonal skills, a calm and professional approach, and the ability to support students’ learning in a structured and consistent way.
37 hours per week, 39.2 weeks per year.
