SEN Teaching Assistant – SEN School – North West London
We are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to support children with autism and severe to moderate additional SEN Needs in North West London. This is for an immediate start long term and ongoing position.
We need a friendly SEN Teaching Assistant or possibly two who have at least some recent experience working within a school setting and who has experience working with SEN students.

This lovely school in North West London is seeking a new SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team, the school thrives in supporting and caring for their students to make them the best they can be.
The SEN you will be supporting is Autism, MLD and SLD. You will be supporting within the classroom setting and doing some 1:1 with students who also need extra support.
Responsibilities
- Support children with autism and other SEN needs (MLD/SLD) within the classroom setting and provide 1:1 support for students who need extra help.
- Collaborate with teachers to implement individual education plans and personalised learning strategies.
- Assist with behaviour management and creating a supportive learning environment.
- Support the inclusion of pupils in activities and ensure safety and well-being during lessons.
- Adapt resources and activities to meet the diverse needs of learners and monitor progress where required.
- Initially long-term, full-time role with potential for extension based on performance and school needs.
Requirements
- Recent experience working in a school setting and with SEN students.
- Friendly, supportive, and proactive approach to working with children who have autism and other SEN needs.
- Ability to work within a team and follow directions from teaching staff.
- Eligible to work in the UK and available for an immediate start (long-term and ongoing position).
- Based in North West London or able to commute to the area.
