We are currently seeking a proficient and passionate Sommelier to join our esteemed team. As a Sommelier, you will play a central role in curating an exceptional wine experience for our guests, showcasing your expertise in wine pairing and contributing to the overall enjoyment of their dining experience. Key Responsibilities
- Curate and manage the restaurant’s wine list, ensuring a diverse and high‑quality selection.
- Assist guests in choosing wines that complement their meals and preferences.
- Provide insights into wine regions, varietals, and vintages.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop wine pairings for menu items.
- Oversee wine service and storage, ensuring proper handling and presentation.
- Conduct wine tastings and educational sessions for staff and guests.
- Stay informed about industry trends, new releases, and emerging vineyards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sommelier in a high‑end restaurant or luxury establishment.
- In‑depth knowledge of wines, regions, and wine production.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a memorable and personalized wine experience for guests.
