Overview of the Role

Experienced Architectural Assistant role supporting residential and heritage projects across London and the UK. You will contribute to RIBA Stage 4 and 5 delivery, producing technical packages, coordinating design information and assisting with project delivery. The role offers hands‑on involvement in detailed design, construction information and work on existing and listed buildings.

Practice & Project Information

This established practice delivers residential, heritage and masterplanning projects across the UK. Work includes private housing, refurbishments and listed building schemes. The studio promotes a collaborative environment with exposure to all project stages, supporting technical development, design progression and professional growth within structured project teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with technical drawing packages for RIBA Stage 4 and 5
  • Support coordination with consultants, contractors and stakeholders
  • Produce clear, accurate drawings and presentation material
  • Contribute to detailing in line with UK building regulations
  • Assist on refurbishment and listed building projects
  • Maintain organised project documentation and meet deadlines

Required Skills and Experience

  • RIBA Part 2 qualification with at least 1 year post-qualification experience
  • Experience with RIBA Stage 4 and 5 technical delivery
  • Understanding of UK building regulations and construction processes
  • Strong drawing, detailing and presentation skills
  • Good time management and ability to work across multiple projects
  • Interest in heritage and conservation work
