About this Role
Working under the direction of our SENCo you will required to
- Develop and maintain an effective relationship with a child who needs additional support integrating into the school environment.
- Develop communication skills and speech and language strategies.
- Assist in the planning, delivery and monitoring of an individual child’s progress.
- To meet the needs of the children through positive relationships, play and interaction.
- Contribute to a nurturing, stimulating and challenging environment for children.

Job Details
This position is linked to the funding the school receive for the child – funding will cease when the child (currently KS1) leaves the school.
Working hours will are 8.40 – 3.10 Monday to Friday – 30 hours per week.
The role is based on K grade, with pay dependent on experience.
The role is term time only – 39 working weeks 44.85 paid weeks.
All appointments are subject to Enhanced DBS checks, satisfactory references & medical clearances and proof of the right to work in the UK.
