Class 2 Curtain Side Driver – Temp to Perm (14 Weeks)

IMMEDIATE STARTS – FROM 5TH MAY

We are recruiting a Class 2 (Category C) Curtain Side Driver for a 14‑week temp to perm position, with immediate starts available from 5th May and the opportunity to go permanent with the client after 14 weeks.

Pay & Benefits

• £13.69 per hour
• £10 per day meal allowance
• £4 per day fuel bonus
• Around 50 hours per week

Working Hours

• Start time: 08:00
• Finish time: Usually around 18:00
• Days: Monday to Friday only
• No weekends
• No bank holidays
• No Christmas working

Job Role

• Class 2 curtain side vehicle
• All loads are palletised
• Multi‑drop deliveries in a fast‑paced environment
• Up to 20-25 drops on very busy days
• No handball involved
• Offloading carried out using tail lift or electric pump truck
• Opening and closing curtains as required
• Accurate completion of PODs and paperwork
• Professional interaction with customers and depot staff

Driver Requirements

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Minimum 6 months multi‑drop experience
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• Able to work efficiently in a busy, fast‑paced role
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• No minimum age requirement
