Learning Disability School Support Staff

Working to support children with a wide range of additional needs and disabilities, including MLD, PMLD, and Autism (ASC) – your days will be diverse and busy!

As an extra helping hand in the classroom, you’ll be supporting pupils with hearing and visual impairments, communication needs, medical and physical needs, and speech and communication requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support children with additional needs and disabilities in the classroom.
• Assist pupils with hearing and visual impairments.
• Help those with communication, medical and physical, speech and related needs.

Qualifications

• Experience working with people with disabilities, learning difficulties, and medical/care needs.
• Familiarity with personal care, medical support, and physical disabilities.
• Friendly, confident, and approachable.
• Ability to get stuck in.
