Rental Technician
Location: Luton
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours – Monday to Friday 8am – 4pm
Responsibilities
As a Rental Technician, you will support Arjo’s customers by delivering and picking up rented products when patients and caregivers need it most. You will deliver, collect, first‑line repair, and service rental equipment locally, ensuring efficient service and improved patient quality of life.
Required Skills
- A methodical, logical and practical approach.
- Ability to prioritise work and amend route plans accordingly.
- Experience of multi‑drop delivery highly desirable.
- Experience of first‑line repair of electrical / mechanical equipment.
- A positive and team‑oriented approach, while working autonomously.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Valid UK driving licence (minimum one year) and clean driving record.
- Enhanced DBS clearance (cost paid by Arjo).
- Ability to lift bulky bed‑frames and mattresses for prolonged periods.
- May be required to work outside normal hours (evenings, weekends, bank holidays) and participate in the “On Call” rota.
