Woodview School are looking to recruit an outstanding Maths Teacher to join our Secondary Teaching team with start date of September 2026.
We are looking for an ambitious, energetic and committed teacher who will expand the learning experiences of our pupils. The successful candidate will be teaching and supporting our young people who may have autism, emotional behavioural difficulties, ADHD and associated complex needs.
The successful candidate will be a Qualified Teacher and ideally have experience of teaching and supporting young people within SEN.
- Resilience We support some of the most vulnerable children in society who have varying degrees of emotional behavioural difficulties, autism, ADHD and associated difficulties so there will be times where your resilience is challenged.
- Communication Communicating with our young people is vital to understand their needs. Good teamwork and communication plays a key part in ensuring important information is relayed to other staff.
- Organisation You will have experience of organising, planning and teaching well-structured lessons tailored to the needs of the pupils as well as monitoring each student’s learning needs, adapting teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of each pupil.
- Caring Our young people require the best care we can offer. If you are a naturally caring and compassionate person, this is the role for you.
- Attentive No two tasks will be the same so being attentive to understand the needs of the young people we support is vital.
We strongly believe in developing our own talent and growing our teachers into successful middle and senior leaders.
Our onsite benefits include free breakfast and lunch from our onsite chef as well as onsite parking! Our other benefits include exclusive access to reward and discount scheme, comprehensive induction, commitment to your ongoing training and career progression, Teacher pension scheme, pay for enhanced DBS, wellbeing support, cycle to work scheme and more!
