Responsibilities
- Support students across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) with SEMH needs
- Deliver intervention sessions tailored to individual student requirements
- Assist in supporting learning in the classroom environment
- Help manage student behaviours positively and maintain a calm, composed approach under pressure
- Adapt support strategies to meet the diverse needs of students with challenging behaviours
Qualifications
- HLTA qualification or relevant Level 4 qualification
- Experience working with secondary‑aged students with SEMH needs
- Strong behaviour‑management and de‑escalation skills
- Experience supporting students with challenging behaviours
- Patient, resilient, and proactive attitude
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
