Secondary Teaching Assistant

New Directions Education are currently recruiting a Secondary Teaching Assistant to support students in a secondary school in West Kirby. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting young people and helping them achieve their full potential.

The Role:

• Supporting students in the classroom on a 1:1 or small group basis
• Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management
• Supporting students with additional learning or behavioural needs
• Encouraging student engagement and progress
• Helping to create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Experience working with children or young people (school-based preferred)
• A patient, supportive, and adaptable approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
• An interest in pursuing a career in education (desirable)

All applicants must have, or be willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS check and provide appropriate professional references.
