HGV / Class 2 Driver Job Description

We are looking for a HGV / Class 2 Driver to join our Aylesbury Distribution Centre, working Monday to Friday, with set start times between 23:00 – 01:00.

As a Class 2 Driver, you will support the operation in making deliveries of stock or pre-packed customer orders to our branch network.

This will involve multi-drop routes between 5 – 8 deliveries to our closed branches, where you will need to un-lock, unload and lock up behind yourself.

Ideally, you will be a confident driver, with experience in off-loading goods using tail lifts, pump trucks etc.

Qualifications

• Collaboration: Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to achieve shared objectives
• Takes Accountability: Taking action, overcoming obstacles, and meeting commitments
• Customer Focus: Building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions
• Driving: Hold a Class 2 Licence, with no more than 3 points
• Hold valid In-date CPC & DIGI Tacho Card
• Experience: Have 6 months Class 2 Multi-drop delivery experience
• Adaptability: Have the ability to switch up your day when needed, to support the business needs
