Experienced HGV Technician – Training & Overtime

We are recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician on behalf of our client, a well‑established commercial vehicle workshop based in Leicester. Duties of an HGV Technician

• Conduct servicing, repairs, and maintenance on HGVs and commercial vehicles to manufacturer standards
• Diagnosing faults using advanced diagnostic equipment
• Carry out safety inspections and prepare vehicles for MOT testing
• Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to high‑quality standards as an HGV Technician
• Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment
• Keep accurate work records and comply with health and safety regulations

Requirements of an HGV Technician

• Fully qualified HGV Technician (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
• Proven experience working on HGVs or commercial vehicles
• Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding skills
• Positive, proactive attitude with a commitment to quality work
• Full UK driving licence required
• HGV licence is advantageous but not essential
