Mana Education are urgently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants for a growing number of opportunities across specialist schools and SEND provisions in Ilkeston and the surrounding areas.
We are looking for caring, patient and dedicated individuals to support children and young people with a wide range of additional needs across both primary and secondary age groups.

The Role
Assignments are available across a variety of specialist schools and provisions including:
- Day‑to‑day supply cover
- Short‑term assignments
- Long‑term support roles
- Maternity cover
- Temp‑to‑perm opportunities
- Permanent SEN Teaching Assistant positions
You may work 1:1 with pupils, in small intervention groups, supporting classroom learning, assisting pupils with communication, emotional regulation and independence.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Relevant experience supporting children or young people or relevant experience in UK schools
- A calm, patient and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for supporting children with additional needs
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusion
Teaching Assistant qualifications are beneficial but not essential for all positions.
