JDS Truck & Van are currently looking to recruit skilled and motivated HGV Technicians to join our growing workshop teams across our dealership network.

What you’ll be doing
- Servicing, maintaining and repairing commercial vehicles to manufacturer standards
- Carrying out diagnostics, repairs, and fault finding
- Recording defects and keeping accurate service records
- Working efficiently to minimise vehicle downtime
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety
- Completing all relevant paperwork and job records accurately
What We’re looking for
- Have previous experience working within the HGV or commercial vehicle industry
- Candidates with a Level 2 qualification and relevant experience will also be considered
- Full UK driving licence (preferred)
- Have strong communication, problem-solving, diagnostic and repair skills
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Take pride in delivering high-quality work
- Strong understanding of HGV maintenance practices, health & safety regulations, and transport legislation.
- Follow safe working practices at all times.
- Report accidents and incidents promptly.
- Assist in accident investigations as required.
- Maintain high housekeeping standards within the workspace.
- Adhere to company QEHS policies and environmental controls.
