Equans is looking for a Painter & Decorator to join our team on our contract with Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust estate on a permanent basis. The role is based across Sandwell Health Campus and Midland Metropolitan University Hospital (MMUH). This is a full‑time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a salary of up to £29,600 per annum and a benefits package.
What will you deliver?
- Undertake decorative improvement work, maintenance, and repairs to the fabric of the building, as part of the Fabric (Days) Team.
- Interpret and work from all instructions, drawings, and specifications appropriate to his/her own trade, without supervision.
- Deliver planned lifecycle programmes of internal & external painting, decoration, and maintenance.
- Prepare surfaces and apply finishes including paint, varnish, and wallpaper.
- Carry out various Painting and Decorating tasks to a high standard as instructed by the company.

Who are you?
- The maintenance painter/decorator must have a background in painting and decorating.
- City and Guilds Institute Painting and Decorating Parts 1 and 2 qualifications.
- Good working knowledge of painting and decorating services.
This role includes a DBS Basic check; therefore the ability to pass is essential.
