We are looking to appoint a confident, adaptable and highly organised cover supervisor to join our team at The de Ferrers Academy. This role will support the continuity of learning across the academy by supervising classes during teacher absence and ensuring that pre‑prepared work is delivered effectively.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

  • Maintain a purposeful learning environment.
  • Support students to stay on task and manage classroom behaviour in line with academy expectations.
  • Provide clear guidance to help students make progress.
  • Communicate clearly and build positive relationships with students and staff.
  • Demonstrate confidence in managing a classroom, maintaining a calm and professional approach.
  • Support students’ learning in a structured and consistent way.
  • Work 37 hours per week, 39.2 weeks per year.
