Benugo is seeking a Chef De Partie to join the team at the Guards Polo Club. In this role you will act as an ambassador for the Benugo brand, supporting the Sous/Head Chef in the day-to-day operation of the venue and mentoring junior kitchen staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare food to a high standard across required areas.
- Assist with extra functions and maintain service standards during functions and dining services.
- Manage client dining, staff restaurant, hospitality and conference food offers when requested.
- Train and mentor junior staff.
- Ensure smooth running of daily operations, including hygiene and personal health checks.
- Control waste and maintain food hygiene and safety standards.
- Comply with all health, safety, fire, security and licence regulations.
- Perform any other reasonable requests from Senior Management.
Qualifications
- Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent standards and attention to detail.
- Experience working in a 5-star hotel or Michelin-star restaurant is desirable.
- Strong teamwork, communication and mentoring abilities.
